It all started when I got my first camera at the age of 12. I was always fascinated by capturing moments, so I started carrying it with me everywhere. When I was able to get schooling for it, I was so excited to learn the ins and outs of what has been a huge part of my life for long. As a sophomore-senior in high school, I took film photo classes. I fell in love with not only the process, but also composition as well. I went on to college, taking photos of everything and anything, finding that I loved working with people and taking portraits of them. I now have 10+ years of experience in photography, including film, black and white, color, studio, and outdoor. I've worked with multiple professionals, learning their processes and well as implementing my own. I have my Associates degree in both Photography and Advertising. Being a photographer combines everything I love into one job. Working in retail, I've learned customer service skills that carry on through all of my projects. Meeting and working with people is my favorite part of what I do. Learning and knowing someone makes it easier to capture them in those incredible moments in life. I love when someone's personality shines through. I've taken photos of people from so many different walks of life, and have met some outstanding individuals. "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
